Ruth and Tim don't use a lot of pre-made Dipping Sauces alone - they add to them with a few key ingredients found in most refrigerators.
One great sauce to have on hand is Balsamic Blast! It's a balsamic and Chinese Five Spice sauce that really goes with a lot of foods. We added it to Apricot Jam and made a great dipping sauce for our Thai Gyoza!
Other dipping sauce ideas are:
- Soy sauce and Apricot Jam
- Jam and Chili paste
- Sesame oil, soy sauce, apricot jam
- Any combination of the above
