Very Cherry Mascarpone

 

This can be a truly elegant dessert!  AND - it's easy as 1-2-3!  We first developed it with fresh berries, but - in the middle of February, fresh berries are not always available - or that good for the price!

  • Very Cherry Frozen Fruit Blend
  • Mascarpone Cheese
  • Shelled Pistachios, slightly chopped
  • Maple Syrup (OR - chocolate sauce if you're feeling especially decadent!)

Warm cherry blend slightly.  Mix mascarpone cheese and pistachios together.  Place some fruit in an attractive glass, such as a martini or champagne, or in an attractive bowl.  Top with a dollop of mascarpone and pistachio mixture, and drizzle a bit of maple syrup over the top.
