This recipe hails from Bonnie at Trader Joe's #680 in Glen Ellyn, IL. They did this demo before the holidays and went through 6 cases of Blackberry preserves in on day! Everyone loved it.
(Sadly, TJ's in Pennsylvania cannot carry wine, so we won't be able to make this in the store, but it's a great one for you to make at home!)
- 1Jar Blackberry Preserves
- 1/3 cup Pinot Noir
- ¼ tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Bag TJ's Italian Style Meatballs
Bring preserves, Pinot Noir and pepper to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Add warmed meatballs to sauce and serve!
